VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland is globally networked, top class organi­zation of expertise. We offer versatile technological and research services to business and the public sector. VTT’s facilities in Kajaani focus on developing industrial internet applications and applied metrology. By wireless solutions we mean the internal data communication solutions of working machines and vehicles (busses, sensor fusion and point-to-point connections). Our aim is to replace wired data communications solutions with cheaper, more user-friendly and reliable wireless solutions.

 

 

VTT MIKES Kajaani - Reliable measurements worldwide

 

The Centre for Metrology and Accreditation MIKES is a research area of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. and conducts high-level metrological research and develops metrological procedures for industry and society. MIKES maintains and develops national system of measurement standards and implements the SI unit system. Through our international network, Finland is connected to the international metrological system.

 

MIKES has facilities in Otaniemi (Espoo) and Kajaani. MIKES-Kajaani, located in the Renfors Riverbank Business Park focuses on the calibration of force, mass, torque measuring devices and the development of online flow measurement devices.
